The company you choose can tell you so much about who you are and are becoming, and the worth you believe you hold.
Lately, I’ve been thinking about how powerful it is to choose to be in spaces that poke at my vulnerability buttons… on purpose.
It’s one thing to be around people who “get it,” but there’s something even more potent about being in the company of those who don’t operate like me. People who, simply by being themselves, invite me to stretch the way I listen, respond, and relate. These aren’t always the easiest spaces, but they’re the ones that feel the most alive. There’s resonance, yes, but also friction, in the best ways. Less about constant feedback, more about honest reflection.
It’s taken time to understand that challenge isn’t always a push or a discipline. (For a while, the word “challenge” made me think of those goddamn squat challenges.) But I’m redefining it, letting it mean expansion instead of force.
Presence instead of pressure.
More and more it’s clear that discernment is the quiet superpower beneath all of this. The skill of being incredibly meticulous about how I curate my time, energy, and relationships—not just for comfort or “like-mindedness,” but for clarity and growth. For the kind of ease that shows up when I’m open and receptive to what’s here, not just what’s familiar.
In truth, ease is my baseline but it’s the discernment that grounds me into it.
These days, I’m less interested in trying to fit in and more interested in what gets stirred in me. I don’t need approval, and I’m really uninterested in surface-level or unsolicited feedback—especially in those tender moments of vulnerable creative practice. But I might want your perspective, if the space between us feels honest, generous, and mutual. That’s the kind of exchange I’m here for, and one I’m willing to offer one of my most valuable assets to: my attention.
There are so, so many themes that have come up recently, and though I find it difficult to pinpoint any one cause and effect for literally anything in my life (if you know me, you know), or rather my open Head and Ajna in Human Design simply won’t allow for it. I am truly here to have a literal open mind.
Still, there will always be the astrological influences. Naturally. Like Neptune, the dreamy planet of idealism, inspiration, and—as Susan Miller says—“the higher octave of Venus,” leaving the equally dreamy, idealistic sign of Pisces and entering the act now, ask questions later sign of Aries for the first time since the 1800s. It feels like a veil is being lifted, and we’re beginning the slow shift from daydream to practical dreams in action.
It’s also how I’m practicing being seen in my own ways. You may have guessed this by now, but I’ve been intentionally and at times coincidentally placing myself in environments that encourage me to unfold more and more—where being vulnerable feels not just safe, but nourished in the company of others who are in their own process of gently unfolding. It’s all happening together, individually, alongside one another, and completely at our own paces.
Things like Karmic Mirror podcast, where every recording is an invitation to know myself more. Or when I liked a friend’s Instagram story too hard and accidentally found myself in her creativity challenge, committing to share something daily for a week.
I’m letting that golden thread weave itself and following along with every moment of resonance. That thread led me to co-creating another opportunity to creatively flourish. Fourteen days in a creative capsule, each of us doing our own thing when it comes to the how of it all, with encouragement, accountability, a soundboard, inspiration, and more blissful unknown to discover in the process.
So here is my invitation to you.
What if your creativity didn’t have to be strategic, impressive, or even finished—what if it just wanted to move through you?
From April 21–May 4, I’m co-hosting a 14-day Creativity Challenge alongside
. It’s a gentle, supportive space to show up daily for whatever wants to be expressed. There’s a private WhatsApp group (possibly my favorite part of it all), a kickoff call, a creative co-working session halfway through, and most importantly—a powerfully soft and safe space to be seen.

Some of the most honest conversations happen when no one’s performing…
When we’re just talking, mid-thought, mid-day, no script.
That’s what happened after our recording with Sarah Duncan. The conversation didn’t stop, it deepened. Our most recent episode is taken straight from the voice notes we exchanged after hitting “stop.” And like most good voice notes, it’s a a bit more personal and entirely, unexpectedly full of gold.
In this one, we explore:
✨ The quiet power of co-creating with care
✨ Our unique rhythms in conversation and in life
✨ Moments of imposter syndrome, and how we move through them
✨ The timing of presence, voice, and knowing through the lens of Human Design
We hope it reminds you that your way of showing up is enough. And that sometimes, what feels like rambling is actually revelation.
Excuse me this graphic?! Um just divine I am obsessed and would like to live there ❤️🔥
